Donald Trump and Ukraine
For the past couple of weeks, there have been impeachment hearings for Donald Trump, what started these impeachment hearings was his scandal with Ukraine. There were many accusations that Donald Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine until Ukraine would investigate into Joe Biden's life. With Joe Biden being the potential democratic candidate, Donald Trump would stand to gain a lot in his political career. Of course, if this scandal was proven right, Trump could be removed from office because no president is allowed to use the office for personal gain. In the end, however, Trump endeavors didn't go as successful as he hoped, and he was forced to release the 400 million dollars in aid for promoting the quid pro quo cooperation with Ukraine. Around September, October, the scandal came to light when a whistleblower complaint was made about the situation. These complaints eventually led to concerns, which ultimately led to the release of a transcript proving that Trump requested an investigation on Joe Biden from Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine. These allegations eventually led to the House of representatives starting a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump on September 24th. These hearings have gone a few weeks now, and the transcripts found in this case have been used to prove guilt in the impeachment hearings. However, many are skeptical of whether or not Trump can be impeached, which is mainly because of a republican dominated senate, which will most likely not force Trump out.
